A homage to the hollow headed sensation of cerebral cloudiness that lingers within us all.
A celebration of inebriation, be it from chemical imbalance or little grey men messing with your grey matter. Alleviate your mental drain and feel no pain as you rock away your clarity to their latest fuzzed-up tune!
“Stone Soup, Oxford's Metal 2 the Masses winners of 2024, are a fun-loving Hard Rock band from Hampshire.
Formed in 2017, they serve up lashings of groove and vintage tones with a blend of Blues, Stoner Rock, Metal, Grunge and 70’s Prog.
“A group of riff lords for whom Monster Magnet and Clutch are heroes...” – Rabidfest 2023 – Metalnoise.
Releasing their self-titled first album in 2018, followed by gigs across London and the South East and after the COVID hiatus, STONE SOUP returned to gigging and writing, with their second album ‘Disillusioned’ released in August 2023.
The whole of 2023 was a constant flurry of gigs whilst also competing in Metal 2 the Masses Oxford, to which the band reached the final. The year was nicely rounded off with the honour of playing Rabidfest.
June 2024 saw Stone Soup winning Metal 2 the Masses Oxford, swiftly followed up in August with their performance on Bloodstock's New Blood Stage.
The band are now riding the wave of their Bloodstock performance, with gigs stacking up and their focus being set firmly on album #3.
