Today marks single release day for Brighton’s very own Industrial/Post Metal torchbearer’s TRIBE OF GHOSTS.

Today is a significant day for music enthusiasts as it marks the release of a new single by Tribe of Ghosts - Brighton's prominent Industrial/Post Metal outfit. Highly anticipated album CITY will be due for release on 14th October and unveiled single DESOLATION WILL BE THEIR ONLY REWARD will satisfy those eager to experience the unique sound and artistic vision that Tribe Of Ghosts consistently deliver. With an innovative blend of powerful soundscapes, the band has carved out a distinct identity in the music scene, drawing listeners in with their haunting melodies and powerful vocals. A short, sharp piece of feral rage; ‘DESOLATION WILL BE THEIR ONLY REWARD’ is the peak of the rollercoaster that is the album ‘CITY’ - the track articulating its world plummeting towards complete devastation. It moves through unnervingly ambient textures of interweaving vocals and electronics, which is then thrust into a punishing barrage of unhinged electronics and ugly riffage that questions when everything and everyone has been used up, was it all worth it?
“DESOLATION WILL BE THEIR ONLY REWARD was the last song to be written for CITY, and we wanted to create a firm statement on where the band is now and where we wanted to be going as we further explored our identity. In the story of CITY it represents the build up of pain, trauma and abuse from the ruling classes throughout the story and how all of their actions will never give them what they want when it all comes crashing down “

The single is accompanied by a chaotic music video directed by Theodore Swaddling, known for his work with Heriot, Angel Number and Boston Manor and also for his incredible work on Tribe Of Ghosts' gory music video ‘FALSE GODS’. Theodore was able to capture the essence of what is Tribe Of Ghosts and their artistic statement - a chaotic whirlwind with a haunting aftertaste.
